ASAHIKAWA DESIGN WEEK

Our sofa factory is located in Asahikawa, a city endowed with a rich history of furniture making and a community of outstanding furniture artisans. We are a member of the Asahikawa Furniture Industry Cooperative, an organization that for many years has promoted the local furniture industry through woodcraft festivals and other activities.

RED U-35 is Japan’s largest culinary competition for discovering the young talented chefs of tomorrow. Since 2017, we have supported this initiative and offered our showroom as the venue, out of our belief that cuisine will become an even more important lifestyle element in the years to come.

217 Architectural Lecture Series project

The 217 Architectural Lecture Series project annually hosts seven talks (once every two months, starting at 7 p.m.) by a pair of Osaka-based architects, Ryuichi Ashizawa and Kohki Hiranuma, along with another architect as guest speaker. At each session, the duo ask their guest about his or her creative philosophy of architecture and explore various topics concerning the creative process, architectural approaches, and more.
