We assisted in furnishing and decorating the lounge and entrance hall, including furniture and artwork, of an apartment located along Wakamiya-Oji, in the historic city of Kamakura. For the lounge, we proposed a custom-made back panel for the sofa, combining the seat of the OMNIO sofa with the back cushion of the ERA sofa. We aimed to create a space that evokes scenes of cultural figures gathering in Kamakura, where one can relax while enjoying a drink or reading a book, with a simple side table set between the seats. We also designed and created a matching center table.
In the entrance hall, we custom-made a walnut bench that can be used both as a seat and a display stand. We gave it a striking geometric form to make it an attractive object in its own right. -Design supervision: Sakakura Associates
