Hotel Otowa no Mori

We assisted the furniture coordination for the large-scale renovation of the Hayama Hotel Otowa no Mori, a resort hotel established in 1987. The hotel, which has been transformed into a space where guests can enjoy "the ultimate daily life," now features 15 all-ocean-view suites. The room layouts were designed to ensure that the spectacular view of Sagami Bay remains unobstructed, creating an open and relaxing environment while maintaining the dignified atmosphere of the historic hotel. As accent colors, we used vivid blues that evoke the sea and sky of Hayama, as well as OTOWA BLUE, the hotel's signature color, for cushions and chair upholstery. We proposed sofas, tables, chairs, desks, and outdoor furniture tailored to the various styles of the 10 different types of rooms, including maisonette types and rooms where guests can stay with their dogs.
